How About We Vibrate Higher In 2025?
Here Are My Easiest Tools To Do So…
This time last year, when I wrote this same newsletter, I was in a different headspace. My sense for the end of 2023, going into 2024, was to acknowledge what we’d managed to achieve that year and accept whatever we hadn’t: be kind, go slow. This year, I feel quite different. Something about 2025 feels more positive, more vibey… it’s like we know where we are at, so let’s just go with it, get on with it, enjoy it and expand!
At Vyrao, we have a lot of things coming up in 2025. I myself am going all over the place for travel, projects, new launches and I know how easily I could burn out. I want to do all I can to avoid that. My goal for 2025 is to try to be in the midst of the chaos, to stay calm, be fit and giggle a lot. I want to find as much joy as I can in the day-to-day, particularly when challenges arise. Let's try, shall we?
So, with that, I want to share my 7 favourite, FREE tools and techniques that I think will LIFT AND SHIFT your day to day. Some you’ll find super easy, some maybe a little harder. They’re tools you can use on a plane, at home, at work, no matter what. (But don’t feel guilty if you don’t do them daily – I swear the guilt is way worse for you than missing out on their benefits.)
1. Start your day with water before anything else.
When I do, I often imagine I’m flushing out the past and starting anew. Drink 2 or more glasses (depending how far you have to travel after and how strong your bladder is!)
2. Scan and breathe.
Once or twice a day, take a second to scan your body and tune in. Are you clenching your jaw? Holding your breath? Tightening your chest or stomach? If you are then BREATHE IT OUT! Take a few box breaths: in for 4, hold for 4, out for 4, hold for 4, and repeat. Easy breath work is a game changer, it’s profound! I can’t get my head around how much it impacts us and how often we forget to do it. Gosh, we are silly humans. Also, don't underestimate the impact of feeling what you're feeling in the day – the moment you notice is a moment of consciousness.
3. SHAKE, MOVE, DANCE.
Ok, if you don't want to dance, just move your body – every day. If it is a workout, great. If it’s not, just shake, jump, walk briskly, move your limbs! Put on a song you love and let’s go. 3 minutes a day… it’s nothing but it’s huge.
4. Rid yourself of negative people
(this is a harder one).
The ones who bring you down. You know who they are. Instead, find the ones that raise you up. Hang out with them. Find them in your office, in your friendship group. Wherever you are, find the radiators.
5. Smile a little more – from your soul.
Make that little effort when you’re offering someone coffee or chatting at work, whenever you feel like it. It vastly raises your vibration. I’ve had days when I’m feeling flat and I make a conscious effort to smile and it really does shift something. It also raises the vibration of whoever’s around you. Magic might even happen. So start beaming and put it out there.
6. My favourite one: connect to your senses.
Of course, to me, scent is especially important. Take a moment to smell something that makes you feel comforted or happy. If you love the smell of freshly ground coffee, for example, open up the bag and breathe it in. It will wake you up and mentally connect you to all the times coffee's given you a boost. Or spray on one of our magical fragrances and take it in for a moment: focus on the intention of that scent and connect with it.
7. Lastly, pray. Yes, pray.
It’s not a word I always use but recently I did a session with Biet Simkin, a wonderful spiritual teacher, who gave me a great breathwork technique and a daily prayer to say. I'm going to share the prayer with you so you can reinterpret it for yourself. Take out “god” if you want, replace it with whatever you feel like: “guides”, “universe”, whatever resonates with you. It just takes a few minutes and it’s beautiful. “Hey god, it’s me Yasmin. Please guide me throughout this day. Please give me pause throughout this day so that I may do what you would have me do, and say what you would have me say. Please direct my thinking that it may be aligned with our highest good. I promise to do whatever you say. Amen.”
Maybe all of the above sounds like a lot, maybe it doesn't, but try some of these suggestions for a few days and tell me how you feel. They’re all energy amplifiers – they will help you vibrate higher, and maybe that's the ultimate goal for 2025.
