A Powerful, Genderless Neuroscent
It is the third neuroscent in our collection – a fragrance scientifically proven to alter wearers’ emotional state using precious plant ingredients – and like our other neuroscents Sun Rae and The Sixth, it’s a collaboration with master perfumer Meabh McCurtin, and the esteemed Science of Wellness research program at International Flavors & Fragrances.
Inspired by Mother Nature
Mamajuju is a unisex scent, named after Mother Nature. I drew on the deep sweet smell of earth’s richness for inspiration, noting the sensory power this has to relax and ground.

Using Precious Plant Ingredients
McCurtin’s inimitable formula for Mamajuju is reminiscent of the smell of rain-drenched clay, and uses balancing red clay as a principal ingredient. This is combined with sustainably sourced Australian sandalwood and pink pepper to boost memory and self-esteem, as well as warming rum absolute, calming olibanum, and an energising spice blend for grounding and heightened awareness.
