About Us
We are Vyrao, creators of a new genre of fragrance that targets emotions and energy through scent, colour, crystals and science-backed natural ingredients.
Made in collaboration with master perfumers, our seven genderless eau de parfums, plus our incense and scented candle variants, are each conceived to lift and shift your mood in different ways. Our formulas harness the principles of neuroscience and energy amplification, and the art of perfumery to spark high vibrations and positivity.
Our name means “I am verdant; I am vigorous; I sprout new green growth”, and this burgeoning, transformative energy is transmitted across everything we do.
How We Do It
The conception of our sublime-smelling perfumes starts with a specific feeling, which is then channelled through a combination of ethically and sustainably sourced vegan and cruelty-free ingredients. Almost all of these are precious natural ingredients, selected for their individual therapeutic benefits and ability to conjure positive energy. Co-created with the most renowned noses, our painstakingly researched formulas activate the parts of the brain where memories and emotions are processed, allowing wearers to tap the good feelings behind each fragrance.
Our two newest scents, The Sixth and Sun Rae, were created in partnership with International Flavors & Fragrances, Inc.’s Science of Wellness Program, which has conducted more than 40 years of research into fragrance’s impact on emotion and wellness. These pioneering, clean “neuroscents” have been measurably proven to increase mindfulness (The Sixth) and joy and self-confidence (Sun Rae, which was named Best Independent Fragrance at the 2024 Fragrance Foundation UK Awards).

From our artful glass bottles and (recycled and recyclable) grass-green packaging to our fragrances’ dedicated affirmation cards for you to say as you spray, every last detail of Vyrao exists to ignite joy and boost soul health through the senses.
What’s more, each 50ml bottle of Vyrao fragrance (as well as the Higher Five Set) contains a tiny Herkimer diamond, while hidden on the base of every candle vessel you’ll find a steel V-talisman. These quantum elements have been supercharged in Hawai’i by our energist, Louise Mita, to magnify the product’s particular intention. Can you feel it?
Meet Our Founder
Vyrao’s founder, Yasmin Sewell, spent many years working in the fashion industry as a fashion and creative director, establishing herself as a sought-after tastemaker.
In 2019, driven by her belief that good feelings are foundational to our wellbeing, Yasmin decided to direct her lifelong passion for energetic medicine into creating her own brand – one that, this time, would inform the future of fragrance. And in 2021, Vyrao was born.
“For me, wellbeing is about how we amplify our energetic, spiritual and emotional health. I am a big believer in healing through the senses – particularly scent, one of the most potent tools for shifting your mood and spirit,” says Yasmin. “I truly believe that joy is the new luxury, so I decided to bottle it.”
