All Our Senses Meet In Milan

Milan’s annual design fair Salone del Mobile is now in full swing and we’re delighted to say you can find us there – contributing to a very special collaboration between two brilliant pioneers: Google Design Studio and the arts and research lab Chromasonic.

Vyrao promotes joy and healing through the senses – not just in terms of our fragrances but in everything we do. We are the world’s first fragrance brand to target energy and emotions through scent, colour, crystals and science-backed natural formulas, which work in tandem to take you higher.

As such, it was a wonderful affirmation of all that we stand for when Google Design Studio invited us to scent their awe-inspiring multisensory installation with Chromasonic, titled Making Sense of Color. A truly synesthetic event, highlighting “the sensorial qualities of colour”, it explores how colour might sound, might feel, might smell – and features our much-loved peppery rose scent Georgette, specially formulated to spark self-love.

“I always wanted Vyrao to be part of an immersive experience linking light, sound, colours and scent. To me feelings have colours and colour have feelings. Every scent we create, colour we choose, every crystal we charge and every image we make is to alter and awaken your energetic field and further your sense of wellbeing. It was my my sole intention when I created Vyrao and bottled all that magic.”

explains our founder Yasmin Sewell.

As a brand that exists at the intersection of nature and scientific innovation – particularly in our ongoing partnership with International Flavors & Fragrances, Inc. (IFF), and their Science of Wellness Program – we are firm believers in the healing potential of technology and science, whether in fragrance, art, music or design. And we are both thrilled and flattered to have been invited to contribute to such a pioneering project where colour becomes audible and sound becomes visible.
